The teachings of God give the right of instruction and discipline to the parents, which was shown in the previous lesson, but with caution as seen in Ephesians 6:4 and in Colossians 3:21. Love for God and for one’s children will temper any violence or extreme harshness for discipline, but that doesn’t mean that the paddle or other proper stringent measure to correct behavior can’t be used. Physical or mental abuse isn’t part of God’s plan and never should be used to discipline nor should they be used in any other way for that matter.

With that being said, the government (politicians) is attempting an insidious type of abuse directed at parents who dare to discipline their children and that abuse is going to be extended even farther if the politically correct crowd get their way. A California Assemblywoman Sally Lieber, D-Mountain View, is behind a bill that will outlaw spanking for children three and under. She equates spanking with beating and if her bill becomes law, then the government will have entered into an area where it has no compelling interest. She has never had to deal with the terrible two period of child rearing. The reason is easy to comprehend. She has no children. There are already laws on the books to deal with child abuse, thus her notions fly in the face of scriptures and reason.

The California (where else?) state legislature poobahs are attempting to ban references that mention  “mom” and “dad” and “husband” and “wife” so that homosexuals won’t feel discriminated against and have their life style denigrated.

The Los Angeles School System even now has implemented most of the filth producing ideas to the children. The one glaring fact in all the censorship is the undying effort to banish from this nation anything that God has created. The thought isn’t given to the fact that those who believe in God are being shoved aside to satisfy the lust and the inescapable sinful conduct perpetrated by the politically correct crowd catering to perverts. The result of all of this nonsense will be confused and disturbed kids who are being brainwashed by unrepentant sinners. (That may be too strong for some to swallow, but the truth is the truth.)

But if the issue presented above isn’t bad enough, a training video which will force the perverted life styles onto children is being introduced into the schools as a training aid to enable teachers to teach that homosexuality is okay. Even though the child is taught by Godly parents that sin is sin is sin, homosexual behavior is acceptable since it has been chosen by those so inclined to engage in perverted behavior. (Using that logic, then any perversion is fine since the behavior has been chosen by the perverted.) In case you doubt that it will happen, here is a quote from the maker of the film: "We make films that make change," said Women's Educational Media, the maker. "We ensure that our films are used to inspire meaningful social change." Meaningful social change for whom we need to ask. The degenerate human beings that won’t conform to God’s order of things is who wants the change. So when God says it’s a sin, shove aside God and teach that it is okay to be a pervert. Their attitude is what does God know about sin anyway.

In Romans 12:1-2, Paul wrote about not conforming to the world’s ways; the sinful way which the homosexual agenda is pushing. He wrote:  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Parents who teach their children the meaning of the verses are being opposed at every turn and are being called bigots, homophobes, intolerant, and worse, and now teachers in the public schools are being trained to teach lies to the children so that the consciences of the perverted won’t be disturbed.

God destroyed the earth due to sin. He saved eight who again began the propagation of the earth anew. Sin returned and Jesus came so that we could claim salvation by faith.  But not all believe that and will perish when Jesus returns. For those who believe that God is to be ignored, be assured that God has not and will not ignore you. Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

A whole host of people are taking pleasure in unrighteousness. Heed the warning for the days are ever drawing near when Jesus will  ensure the right order of things.
