TO SEE A PAINTED DAFFODIL!

If I were to paint a picture -
Yellow would be the best,
To bring sunshine to your
Eyes, teasing them to rest.

I looked at the red, blue and
Even thought of the color green,
As this would make the leaves
Seem strong, so they won't lean.

Blustery winds couldn't make them fall
Because God has a strong hand,
The snow and ice can't cause a topple
God's love and support is in command.

My painting of such a hearty flower
Keeps my brush dipping in the paint,
Only to create more flowers for spring
The vivid colors will make it quaint.

As the flower unfolds and it's beauty
Brings sighs of awe from your heart,
I knew this painting would bring to you
The love and feelings from the start.

So now  that I have finished my work
And framed it for an everlasting thrill,
Of letting you know what it is like
