TO WHOM DO THE CHILDREN BELONG? |
|
The scriptures make it plain that the responsibility of creating children and their welfare belongs to the parents. That responsibility began in the Garden when God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Eve gave birth to Cain and later to Abel. Did those children belong to Adam and Eve to oversee their nurture and growth to manhood? The answer is obvious. Throughout the Old Testament the message is that parents are to raise their children because they are responsible for them being born. Paul drove the point home and continues to do so with the teaching in Ephesians 6:1-4 where he tells fathers to bring them [children] up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. If the children do not belong to the fathers (parents by extension), what is the reason Paul wrote that to the Ephesians? Modern ideas ignore the plain teaching that has served human kind well for centuries-that is ever since the beginning. Modern ideas take away God’s teaching and put in its place the humanistic notions created by man to control humanity. The human replacement is pure nonsense, but the liberal God denying mind plunges on with their dogmas. Their whole emphasis and impetus is to make the government the teachers of the children; by doing so they can create people who acquiesce to government authority in all matters of life. That is happening now if anyone cares to notice. Vladimir Lenin said, Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted. History proves that is true. What one learns in childhood will be a determining factor for ideas and behavior as an adult. Proverbs 6:22 says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. That does not mean he or she will not misbehave or turn away. It means that the teaching will remain with them even though they may not follow it. If they do not learn the way of God, then they will follow the way of evil and that will stay with them also. God deniers in the year 2013 are unrelenting spreading their propaganda, but the propaganda concerning raising children received an open door with Hillary Clinton’s book, It Takes a Village to raise a child. The thesis in the book is that a whole community is responsible for the upbringing of children by helping the parents. A community can influence children, but the right influence is the parents who help shape the community. Melissa Harris-Perry, a professor of political science at Tulane University said, “We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had kind of a private notion of children. Your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children. So part of it is, we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.” (Source CNS News) Couple her words with fact that the nut job in the White House wants to have government supported pre-school beginning with four year old children. That gives her words a more ominous meaning. Consider the words of Lenin: Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted. Several generations (four since 1933 using 20 years for the beginning of a new generation) of citizens have been raised and are being raised to believe that that the government will furnish life’s needs. In the past 50 years, proliferations of programs that entitle families to help with their children have grown exponentially. In that regard, children are becoming more and more the responsibility of the government/community which increases dependency that takes away personal responsibility of parents for the children and after they mature, personal responsibility. Thus, the children no longer will belong to the parents; they will belong to the community which is better defined as the government. That is the meaning of Harris-Perry, a sycophant of the nut job. It is a surety that the evil ones of the present government will continue their efforts to claim ownership of the children if the parents do not stop it. Parents should understand that, no matter how great the benefits offered, whatever common sense values and belief in God that families may have will be countered by the dogma of the government teachers who will be conducting the “wonderful” programs. As the brainwashing continues, the government will gain ownership of the children that will eventually metastasize to full blown dictatorial control in all areas of life for everyone. © 04-10-2013 DEC |
