During the 2008 election campaign, the nut job (aka Barack Hussein Obama) said “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Did the people who heard him utter that truth understand what he meant?   It is presented to you that they didn’t and those who have since learned the meaning do not care and actually want more transformation.

Paul wrote a few words concerning transformation in Romans 12:1-2 as the early believers struggled with the Law and throwing off the sin that had enveloped their lives. He wrote 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Paul wanted the believers in Rome to throw off the old ways of the heathen pagan life and be transformed to God’s way in Christ. Notice that Paul wrote that the transformation begins with a renewing of the mind. The verb indicates that is imperative that in order to follow Christ a change of mind must take place. The word for renewing in the Greek anakainosis -- pronounced: an-ak-ah'-ee-no-sis is in the noun class but has the action of a verb/participle and indicates that a replacement of an old way has taken place. That is what takes place when the believer replaces the worldly thoughts with those of God.

When the founders began the work to create our republic, they had a renewing of their minds in that they did not want to keep in place the type of rule that England had over them. As a result of that renewing, they built a constitutional republic that was dedicated to freedom and liberty. As such, it was up to the people to keep it going with a renewing of the mind as each day passed into a new one. The Constitution and the way of Christ allow freedom and liberty within the confines of godly behavior. However, that which is taking place now is not the way due to a transformation far different from the original plan of the Constitution and that of God and Christ.

In place of constitutional government, a dictatorship is slowly being installed by a man who spouts Bible passages twisted to suit his purpose. Just because he says he is “Christian” doesn’t mean he is a believer, but Sean Hannity says he believes the nut job is “Christian.” Truthfully Hannity and others who think the same do not know the Bible and the meaning of being a believer in Christ. The nut job is mixing the ways of evil with way of Christ and apparently those who listen to him do not know that he is practicing evil. Paul wrote to the Corinthian believers when they were trying to mix the new with old ways of life. II Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Paul’s teaching can be applied to the present day. Believers and those who say they are believers are trying to mix God’s way with the way of evil, when they support the nut job. How can believers support a man who champions abortion, supports Planned Parenthood, encourages and supports homosexual conduct and violates the Constitution? By doing so they are in fellowship with unrighteousness, the dark side of life and in league with the infidels. What are infidels? Those who refuse to accept and receive God’s grace that is only revealed in Jesus Christ and many of those voted for the nut job.   

Transformation of the republic is taking place with evil becoming the norm instead of decency and right based on God. The nut job meant it when he said he would transform the republic. It isn’t politics as usual as many think; it is a radical agenda by which the nut job is determined to change our way of life to one wherein the government will decide what we shall do and not do. He has become god and the government is his power for transformation.
