A warning must be given to those who begin to read this article. The
comparisons used more than likely won’t set well with the liberal crowd
and they may in fact deem what they read hate speech. So be it, but the
truth is the truth and if the truth is hate to them, then they have a
severe problem with reality.

We have entered into a mind set in recent years that says that anything
certain individuals or groups don’t like must be called hate speech. A
Pennsylvania law covering hate speech was struck down because it
violated the Pennsylvania Constitution. Eleven people were charged under
authority of that ill conceived law for preaching the gospel to
homosexuals at a coming out event. They were pointing out the very thing
that Paul wrote to Timothy: 9 Knowing this, that the law is not
made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the
ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of
fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers,
for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for
liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is
contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the
blessed God, which was committed to my trust. (I Timothy
1:9-11) In the mind of the perverted, plus those who only want to get
along, those scriptures are hate speech.

In order for evil to gain ground, truth must be stifled, if not
eliminated. That law in effect was designed to eliminate free speech by
erecting a barrier that would stifle it to the point of elimination,
without declaring free speech illegal except when directed at protected
classes of people. Now we’ll go to the comparison that a few readers may
not like.

Throughout history, tyrants have used laws to stop free speech,
especially that which told the truth. Marx and Lenin set in motion the
system of Communism designed to ultimately eliminate the gospel; Stalin
made preaching and free speech of all types punishable by imprisonment
in gulags and by death. Hitler stifled free speech, eliminating any
speech that threatened his reign of terror. In like manner, the
Pennsylvania law was no better than the attempts throughout history to
stifle speech that the ungodly, decadent, Hell bound sinners don’t want
to hear. The politicians who conceive such laws and the governors who
sign them are no better than the tyrants who spread their liberty
denying reign over their countries. Police officers who participate in
the enforcement of the laws, arresting peaceful people while allowing
the real perpetrators of violence to go Scott Free (as happened in
Pennsylvania:
After a
confrontation with a group called the Pink Angels, described by
protesters as "a militant mob of homosexuals," the Christians were
arrested and spent a night in jail. (Source
WND) are no better than the jack-booted thugs that roamed the
Soviet Union and Germany trying to eliminate opposition.

One of the most chilling parts of that now defunct law follows:
The provisions adopted under the
failed procedure increased penalties for crimes based on what the
criminal was thinking, specifying the additional penalties for "actual
or perceived … ancestry, mental or physical disability, sexual
orientation, gender or gender identity." The penalties for
this thinking are the chilling part. George Orwell was only wrong on the
year about thought crimes. The First Amendment ensures the right of free
speech and that also means one can have free thoughts which precede
thinking no matter the content of that thought. Those arrested thought
and still do believe that homosexuality is wrong. Such thoughts and
preaching are based in the Bible, containing the Word of God that the
sinners who practice debauchery despise. The purpose of that law was to
stop the reminding of those who deny God that they are living a life
that is decadent, filthy, and morally corrupt.

|
By declaring truth evil; by trashing free speech through laws, the
purveyors of filth can shove their immorality off on decent people. That
is the only way they can prevail against God. It is necessary to do as
Paul told Timothy (II Timothy 4:2-5) Preach the word; be instant
in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering
and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound
doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears
from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all
things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full
proof of thy ministry, That is what the people preaching that
day did and they prevailed over the evil directed over them. What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against
us? (Romans 8:31) In Sorting It Out, the answer
is no one including a tyrannical government.
