The ACLU and its homosexual contingent in Arkansas are incensed about a bill introduced into the legislature to prevent homosexuals from having foster children placed in their homes. The bill has been introduced as result of a judge in Little Rock, Timothy Fox, who ruled that there wasn’t anything detrimental to children being placed in homes that contain homosexuals, essentially saying that morality couldn't be a criteria for not allowing foster children into homes with homosexuals. Rita Sklar of the ACLU said the legislator’s reason for introducing the bill wasn’t for claimed morality but the legislator's personal preference. (Can that be translated prejudice?)

Not about morality which is what Sklar said. Indeed. It is about morality and the sooner the powers that be who claim to be so high and mighty and know it all see the problem there will only be more problems.  The one word that Sklar and the judge refuse to countenance, much less use is sin.  In a word, homosexual conduct is sin and no matter how many times other words such as alternative life styles, loving relationships, civil unions, or some other term are used, the fact remains that the relationships are sinful. 

Sin is a word that brings God into the conversation and everyone knows that using God in the hearing of certain people is offensive to them since those who believe in God are insensitive, narrow minded, hateful, and backward in their thinking. Belief in God is old fashioned, for fools, and hinders progressive social solutions according to the thinking of the enlightened.

Why don’t these so called intelligent people like God, the Bible, and the word sin?  God is about standards for human conduct and some don’t like standards. When one speaks against homosexual conduct it is from the standard set by God and that standard is found in scripture and doesn’t come from the mind of Judge Fox or Rita Sklar.

The Corinthian Church had members who were homosexuals at one point in their lives. Paul said in I Corinthians 6:9-11, Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [1 Cor 6:10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. [1 Cor 6:11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  He said and such were some of you meaning that they were now different or supposed to be different.

Paul was speaking about morality and that God through Jesus Christ has brought to them a different way of life. In other words they have been saved from the sin that was deliberately a part of their lives before baptism. Paul also was cautioning them not to return to the old ways as well as reminding them of their salvation.

The foregoing tells us that the people to whom Paul was writing had to have understood that their old behavior was sinful. Otherwise he wouldn’t have written as he did and until Judge Fox, Rita Sklar, homosexuals, politicians, and the sympathizers accept the fact that homosexual conduct is sin as Paul said, the insane discussion  about where foster children should live will continue.

The scriptures make it clear that children are to be taught about the Lord. Paul wrote, [Eph 6:1] Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. [Eph 6:2] Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) [Eph 6:3] That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. [Eph 6:4] And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.   

Certainly foster children need proper direction and the obvious question begs to be asked of the Judge Fox, homosexuals, and Rita Sklar. How can children be taught by homosexuals in the ways of the Lord and his  righteousness when homosexual unions and conduct are sin?
