Would the members of the United States Congress, Republican or Democrat,
ever admit to following Marxist doctrines of Communism? It is doubtful
that they would, but that is exactly what they have been doing ever
since FDR moved the nation’s people through his government programs to
accept socialism. That has been bad enough to watch over the years and
now it is getting worse.

|
At the moment the Democrats running for election are trying to out Marx
Marx who said, “From those with most ability to those with the greatest
need.” There isn’t any need to imply anything in that statement since it
is easily understood. Marx meant to take from those with most and give
to those who had needs. Who will make that determination? Of course the
government will determine who has the most and who has the greatest
needs. And the taking will be and is done by force against those who are
determined to have the most. That is tyranny pure and simple.

The followers of the liberal Democrats who believe in and push the
socialistic principles off on us attempt to make us believe that Jesus
was a socialist since he spoke often of helping the poor. They twist and
pervert the scriptures to justify their belief that government should
extract from the “rich” and donate to the “poor.” One of their favorite
is the rich young ruler who didn’t want to sell his possessions to help
the needy. Never mind that Jesus wasn’t speaking of government forcing
him to sell, but was speaking of doing what was right and not to trust
in uncertain riches.

Two of the champions of take from and give to are LBJ who
said, “we’ll take from the haves and give to the have nots, and Hillary
Rodham Clinton who said that she would take profits of the oil companies
to use for the greater good. These lines find a gullible public all too
eager to help themselves to the property of others. Since the Bible says
that riches can lead to a downfall if not managed properly, politicians
are very willing to take from the “rich” to keep them from being lead
astray into a snare by what is rightfully theirs (the rich) and not the
government’s, even though not one word in the scriptures can be found
that conveys to the government any God given command to extract the
property of others to be used for charity. Rather, Paul told the
Christians: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so
let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful
giver. (II Corinthians 9:7) That doesn’t mean to give to the
government for charity or do it cheerfully. It is up to each one to
decide who to help and with how much. Politicians need to butt out; it
isn’t the government’s business.
|
|
However, tyranny by the government isn’t confined to the forcible
extraction of wealth. It extends into other areas of life too. Free
speech is threatened by laws that are designed to keep Christians and
others from speaking out against abortion and homosexuality, resulting
in the arrest of those proclaiming God’s truth. The IRS brings action
against churches in which the minister tells the members about the evil
beliefs of certain politicians. Certainly, preaching the truth means
that evil must be pointed out and if that means that a politician is on
record or otherwise believes ungodly things, the people have a right to
judge his beliefs according to the word of God. When the government
tells them to stop or face consequences that is tyranny.

Yet the tyranny marches on from the mouth of Nancy Pelosi who is
becoming a tyrant.
John Fund in Opinion Journal writes:
Now House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has moved to kill an amendment that would
protect employers from federal lawsuits for requiring their workers to
speak English. Among the employers targeted by such lawsuits: the
Salvation Army. The truth is that even though Congress passed an
amendment that would shield the organization, the EEOC (Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission) has decided in its bureaucratic wisdom (having
sued the Salvation Army for firing two employees who didn’t comply with
language requirements) “… that the firings violated the law because the
English-only policy was not "relevant" to job performance or safety.”
That is tyranny.
|
|
With just a few examples and a comparison with the Bible (also the
Constitution), it can be seen that the only thing the politicians know
is laws that force others to comply with their tyrannical agenda. Such
behavior and power isn’t part of their constitutional duties. In Sorting
It Out, if Christians and others don’t stand up to those such as Pelosi
and her ilk, we’ll experience more slavery as tyranny marches on to the
destruction of our God given freedom and liberties, even to the loss of
our lives.
