Government know it all types do not know when to cease their tyrannical ways. They have forced onto low flow toilets, expensive and dangerous lights bulbs, listing of food content on menus, so called health care and now, California has banned therapists from helping those who wish to escape the devastating clutches of homosexual behavior. The first three involve unconstitutional edicts, while the last one is a moral issue. In addition, California Rep. Jackie Speier wants Congress to pass a resolution to ban therapy and encourages states to pass laws like the one in California. When the behavior is immoral, it is safe to say many liberals are for it.

Two liberal behaviors are very apparent. They believe they are above any law and are very capable of deciding what laws are needed, even though most of them they want and pass are unconstitutional. They do not care that what they do is unconstitutional, and since the Constitution retrains their grand designs for the republic, they do not honor its restraints. The other behavior is the denial of God. Refuse to honor God, his way of principles and his way of life through Jesus Christ, and they inevitably will promote unconstitutional laws and immoral behavior. Truthfully, they do not have any moral restraints except those they make for themselves.

When one is oriented to the moral standards of God, it is easy to spot the degenerate behavior and those who support it. Jesus spoke to the Jews concerning their behavior in Matthew Chapter 7:13-20. His message was that false prophets were in the world and would be leading people astray. He told them to enter through a narrow gate rather than the wide because it leads to destruction. (Matthew 7:13) He continued in verses 17-18 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. In verse 19, explains what is going to happen to them few years later (In AD 70, when Jerusalem was destroyed) and concludes with verse 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. But those who do not hold a biblical moral standard will utter disbelief, and continue on with their unholy ways, all the while doing exactly what the Word of God tells them they will do. Their excuse is that the Bible is old fashioned and it can’t possibly apply to the present day.

One verse of scripture that sets off the homosexuals and their supporters is Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall  surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. This must be kept in its context. God was speaking to those who might engage in various types of unrighteous behavior described in the verses before verse 13, and then after verse 13, he explained more behavior that would bring consequences to the participants because all such behavior in the context defiled the purity that God wanted for his creation and still does. When purity is gone, spiritual death follows. Those laws were designed to protect life, but the objectors seem to miss the message. The message to those people was simple. Do not do those things and you shall live.  He was speaking to the people of that day as he prepared them to bring Jesus into the world.  No one is suggesting in this day and time that homosexuals should be put to death. There is only one way for them to change their behavior and it is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul told the people in the Corinthian church (Corinthians 6:-10) that at one time they were guilty of many things which included homosexual conduct but now they were washed of sin though obedience to Jesus Christ, and in verse 11, he wrote And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. When those who claim that homosexuals were born that way or cannot change, just reply, “You don’t believe in God, do you?” The scriptural message is that all sin can be stopped if the sinner wants to stop.

A teacher in Alabama expressed his belief that the Bible does not support the homosexual lifestyle during class and now the department of Education is investigating him for a possible hate crime. A student complained because she was offended by the remark. The hostile God haters and deniers are dedicated to preventing the truth of their immoral behavior. Anyone who disputes the homosexual stance is accused of practicing hate. Jesus, the apostles and early believers were put to death in an effort to stop the message of salvation. In the first century, those who put them to death for telling the truth were the ones practicing hate. In the present day, just as in the first century, truth is hate and the message of the God deniers and immorality promoters is “We will stop you.”

Their message works both ways and those of us who believe in God have a message for them too. We will stop you from perverting our republic and we will do it by preaching the gospel whether you like it or not. We will point out sinful behavior whether you like it or not. The practice of homosexuality is wrong; God says it is sin and that is the end of the discussion.

According to the hate crime laws, this article could be subject to the hate crime classification since it appears that any words that refer to God, his Son, and their message is not welcome by certain sinners of the world, namely homosexuals, both male and female. So be it. This author will continue to write and speak the truth of God protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution. Besides, as Paul told Timothy: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (II Timothy 4:2) I take that personally and will do so until my last breath is drawn.
