Hillary Clinton’s true color is beginning to show more than ever. She said in a speech at Manchester N.H.: "There is no greater force for economic growth than free markets. But markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed. Fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies." Try Lyndon Johnson’s “we’ll take from the have and give to the have nots” for starters and with that he kicked off the ruinous Great Society that has bankrupted our nation. Since 1965 the earned resources of the “haves” have been plundered by one grand government scheme after another. No matter how noble the idea that brings the government into ones life, nothing works as well as each individual looking after his or her own well being.

But Hillary doesn’t like the idea of each one being responsible for his or her own welfare. She says that it's time to replace an "on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity. Be wary of the words shared and prosperity as she speaks the big government line. What she means is the same as the words L.B.J. used mean. She wants those with more to share with those with less and increase prosperity. Sharing is fine and those with the means should help others but with Hillary the government through taxes and other means will force the sharing. Another name for that is tyranny which results in the loss of freedom and liberty no matter how much it is denied.

All of those fancy words about sharing and government policies to create fairness are coming from a woman who told a group a few months ago that she would take from some of those in the room to be used for the greater good of society. This from a woman who said she would take the profits of Exxon and put them to better use. Ah yes, forced sharing to create prosperity through the right government policies from which no one can escape.

Profit to Hillary is a bad word which isn’t surprising given the mind set of the liberals. They see profit as the means for the government “goody bag” that ensures that those receiving the handouts will vote for them. Hillary Clinton would do well to study the Bible. The Bible doesn’t teach that profits are wrong and neither does it teach that government is to take the profits. Yes, Jesus said to render unto Caesar what is his but that was taxes and it didn’t include confiscation of income and profits.

James wrote 4:13-15: Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15  For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. The teaching isn’t against profit (gain) but rather that of not including God in the plans, verse 15. But Hillary by her words wants to control profit through the right government programs.  

Given the history of government programs, it is plain that their nature is to reward those who don’t like to be on their own in life and would rather depend on the handout of government whose rules are formulated by Hillary and her ilk. Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11, For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.  Paul was speaking to Christians who were looking for handouts from others instead of working and he told them they should not expect to eat at the expense of other people. They were going about while not working, engaging in busybody business. It appears that the principle would apply to Hillary Clinton and her fellow liberals who want to reward slovenly behavior.

Take a closer look at Hillary’s words when she speaks of sharing and fairness.  A man long before her said, "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs." That man was Karl Marx, the father of Communism. All Hillary has done is change the words and in Sorting It Out, no matter how she says it, or how many word changes she makes and may make, her ideas and words mean Welcome to Communism.
