WHAT DID I SEE?

 

I dove to 200' and

What Did I See?

This question is 

Always asked of me.

 

First of all;  a slow descent -

Eventually losing the light,

Becoming much darker;

Like approaching the night.

 

With my flashlight on -

What an amazing trip,

An octopus was before me

Then disappeared with a zip!

 

As I slowly moved around

My dive became a thrill,

For swimming by me was

The famous Six Gill!

 

He circled around me

As we met eye to eye,

"Not today my Lord -

I'm not his apple pie!"

 

He nudged me and

I nudged gently back,

I was keeping him

Moving on his track.

 

I checked my watch

For it was time to go,

A slow ascend for

My time of Deco.

 

This is only a part

Of diving in the sea,
