YOUR YOUTH IS GONE
AND PAST
God is a painter
of great magnitude -
He paints the meadows and
trees,
And when he is finished
with his brush
All the flowers sparkle in
the breeze.
He paints bright colors of
which we love,
Using his big brush in a
loving way,
Glorious gold and unfolding
beauty
All is done for us and
here to stay.
God's paintings you admire
so much
That you wish you could
frame it all,
To proudly show all your
friends
The lovely colors to hang
on your wall.
I give you fall flowers
tied in abundance -
They still would have some
weather dew,
Please keep them to
brighten your day
Because I picked them
especially for you.
This is my love, and my
thoughts to thee
God's paintings is a
reminder of our
Many happy golden years,
you see.
He wants you to remember;
He loves you
And paints with bright
colors that last,
You put
this in your very own heart
YOUR YOUTH
IS GONE AND PAST.
